aka White Currant
This is an albino form of the Red Currant which has almost translucent fruits with low acidity. Delicious picked and eaten straight off the bush. Happiest in morning sun in any average soil that does not dry out too much in summer. Adding some organic matter will improve performance. Deciduous.
Prune the main shoots of your White Currant back by about 1/2 in winter to encourage new fruiting laterals. Remember that White Currants mainly fruit on older wood.
